I wonder if creating drug clinics for addicts, clinics that have safer heroin and things would be a realistic solution to keep more people from falling in to the street drug trap. I cant really believe just because a clinic is licensed to hand out harder drugs for addiction sufferers that everyone else would jump on board and do drugs. Maybe drug clinics would have more of a positive impact for addicts and non-addicts than combating it with a police force, tax dollars, and giving drug pushers reasons to be more criminal. If the drugs were available by clinic, it wouldn't seem so cool, and as long as addicts weren't spending every moment looking where they can get some next theres a chance they could fight the addiction off, with professional help also.

What do you guys think?

I'm totally in agreement. The drug war is an utter failure. We should be treating addicts and not incarcerating them.
