LOL, Beavercreek, MK and EB......I don't want to see anyone hurt but it is fun to honk and wave at them as they sit there with all their stupidity showing to all the cars they passed. Kinda like when you'll have somebody tailgating you like crazy, they'll go around you, and then at the next stop sign or traffic light...wow, they're right in front of you, that's when I laugh also. They must feel really dumb.

We didn't get any more snow today but it was 11 degrees this morning...it actually warmed up to 15. I wish I could find a place that has mild, short winters and not alot of heat or humidity in the summers....any ideas??

Not asking for much are you!

We stay indoors during the hot humid months here. But we are blessed with very mild winters. Just two or three snow storms and maybe an ice storm or two. I much prefer the winters here as all the insects are gone. We have a terrible time with mosquitoes, chiggers and ticks around here.

Hi redbird, where ya been? I absolutely hate high heat and humidity. Ticks...ugh, when I was in Ohio had one in my hair 2 times....gawd I hate those things!!!! Mosquitoes, we sure get them up here although they weren't real bad this past summer. Now if you go into the bush areas up here they are in swarms and they are some big suckers. One year my husband got sent to the Bush area to do a service job, no kidding, he came home with 50 some mosquitoe bites on him. The bush areas are the islands or towns that are very remote and you can only get to them via boat or fly.

Those ugly little things will get anywhere on your body....ughhhhhhhhhhhhh. We don't have ticks up here and there is really not a flea problem for the dogs in the summer months.

We also don't have rats or snakes.....thank goodness!!

Its not even in the snow. Say during in the summer you are on a two lane road and somebody feels like you are going too slow, they pass you, but there is a light ahead. Its always great to be sitting right behind them at the light. Just sit, smile and wave.

How 'bout Boone or Blowing Rock, NC in the mountains. There is skiing in winter (short season) and average temps during winter day is low 40s. Many people have 2nd homes to visit in Summer due to the nice weather and lower humidity. Very picturesque. Asheville (home of Biltmore) is a little larger city with similar climate.
