EB, we didn't have any hills. So we played crash cars with them. You move the top gate up and over the cart, then sit in the cart and push yourself backwards.

Crash cars for poor kids. Gotta love being a kid! We never had the "there's nothing to do" whine kids have nowadays. We always made up games or walked miles in the country with our little .22's.

EB, I have four of kind! That would pay big bucks on a slot machine, eh? I hit a small jackpot on friday. Walked out with $1700 bucks. You guys don't have casinos in Ohio *yet, do you! (bwahaha)

Hey congrats there Mr Big Bucks , always love hearing good stories like that. And no, we don't them here in the Buckeye "YET". but alot of us are looking forward to them in the elections that are coming up. We need to do some thing to bring money back into Ohio.

Forgive me for being facetious, my friend, but casinos are good for SUCKING the money out of a state.

That whole issue of casino gambling is a double-edged sword. I think we have over a hundred here in OK now, actually some lady told me it was like 170, but I would have to have a citation before I threw that number out there.

Bottom line, its like alcohol IMO, some people abuse alcohol and let it wreck their lives, other people learn it is for entertainment value only. An old lady at the casino I used to work at always says, casinos weren't built on winners!

I love casinos. You have to learn to a) walk out when ahead, and b) don't take more than you intend to or can afford to lose. Words of wisdom I don't always live up to!

The only reason I went to a casino in Ca. was because cigarettes were cheaper.
.....but then smoke shops started popping up.

I've never been to that part? So how did you end up in Oklahoma and how do you like it there?

It's a long story. I've been in OK, for 2 1/2 years now. I lived in SoCal most of my teen/adult life.
My childhood history is being written by historians and DR's as we speak.
If your interested in reading about it, either Debey or I will send you a link.

I like OK. very much. I didn't realize how much I missed the 4 seasons until I came back here.
The only thing I miss in So Cal is the mountains.

... and a lot of spanking. I would be one of the Mods who squashes trolls on sight.

I would not want to be a Mod either. I can barely stand to read some of the thread titles, "Will I like <enter state's name>? How are the school's in <whatever state>" My sarcasm would boil over and I would be the first Mod banned from CDF.
