I dont support any Casinos in Ohio... And I hope that we never have them!

Its bad enough, you have Casinos in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, so ,who needs them here?

My vote is 'NO'

May the LORD Bless each of you.

I wish you well...

Jesse

And don't forget they will be in Toledo also. That means no more drives down 75 and thru some not so nice areas.

I have no clue why the casinos have been voted down so much in this state?

Anyway, I know the trend has been changing, and I think next election we will see them pass. I know if they build them, possible locations in Cincy would be along the riverfront, one in Columbus in the Arena District, Cleveland could have one somewhere along the lake, and then some of the smaller cities could figure out where they would like their's. I just read some articles about Cincy, Columbus and Cleveland and where, if passed, their casinos would be.

Well when it was brought up the last time, the provision was for only ONE casino in some cornfield between Columbus and Cincy and the guys running it would've more or less been contributing nothing to the state tax base, (as I understood it anyway).

If I really wanna gamble anyway, (which I don't) I can be at Mountaineer in WV in about an hour or I can be in Detroit/Windsor or Niagara Falls in about the same time as it would take me to get there.

Ya, but Ohioans should spend their money in our state, don't give it to Michigan which is already tanking anyway. The laws just need to change. I remember the two guys that wanted to build that casino. Now other casinos have their eyes set on Ohio. They realize its a big state with a big population, and why not bring your casinos here where they can be successful.
