Look, I'm Black and I could care less about some fools who are not going to vote for Obama cuz he's Black, like YOU are. No matter where you go in the world, whether it be America, Canada, South America, Africa or wherever, there are going to be people who don't like you or me because we're Black.

For instance I would just like one day to intermingle with any one in that town and before its all over I would have them laughing and they would want me as their best friend.

At the risk of sounding harsh, I wish folks would drop the whole race issue. Racism has been around since the first time a caveman spotted another from a different tribe. It will continue long after we're gone. I'm not condoning it, just pointing out the obvious. Not all white folks believe that all black folks are lazy, either. The statement you made could easily be considered racist, although you may not have meant it that way.

Everyone has been targeted in some way or another, whether it is discrimination because of race, social / financial status, gender, age or religion. I think these things are more of an issue for folks who give it more attention than the issue deserves.

There will always be somebody out there that doesn't like you or want to get to know you, including members or your own race, gender, social status and religion.
