LOL!
Just kidding, Cincy-Rise.

I likewise said I was going to drop this subject, but one final comment before I go. You posted the following link about Hamilton's crime:

Now....can we all just drop this whole stupid thing? I told Cincy-Rise I'd try to stop the arguing, as long as he does. He said that's cool. I'd like to think we could all do the same and be one big happy bunch. Kinda like the Bradys! HA!

Well, at least it was just tea and not little bits of crumpets, too. That wouldn't have been a pretty sight.

YAY! People are joking about my lame joke! I managed to break the tension. I was going to do an all-out cyber-fart of some sort next to get you to stop with multi-page rants about whether or not flagpoles atop skyscrapers matter or not. Who cares? (and this is coming from a city geek!)

Thats fine. I addressed both those issues already.
But the main thing Im saying is this: If we want to have another argument than it should at least be in the right thread. The last couple arguments on this forum have ruined a couple threads that had little to nothing to do with the debate/argument, and made the posters in the Ohio forum look like a joke. If we do anything like this again (I hope not, but you can probably bet it will happen), than we should at least do it in the proper place before its too late.

if you follow the conversation on the "lorain is a joke" thread, i showed stats from 98-06. my whole point was that he was embellishing a bit about lorain, and that article goes along with that sample size. the numbers are actually very close to the stats cle440 didn't trust, so i'd call that merit.
cincinnati does have a problem with race riots. they set the city back 20 years in '67, and they set the city back 20 years in '01. that would make it 1961, but the job they did on ted berry in '49 pushed cincinnati back 23 years, and probably more. where is cincinnati socially if ted berry is the first black mayor of a major city in 1949? carl stokes didn't do it in cleveland until '67. that was a HUGE mistake. but i digress....to mapplethorpe. it's hard to put a number on that, people around the country really remember that, and in general, the idea of censorship and conservatism in cincinnati. let's be nice and say, oh, 21, and that's assuming da nati will gain some years with the banks, the streetcar and the skyscraper in '11. the year is 1917, and we're trying to pull out of a war we shouldn't be in, our foreign policy is terrible, and our president doesn't have a clue.

I gotcha. I've been so out of it, apparently I haven't been reading the posts very clearly. My apologies.
