Question BARNES Boat Co ? - Preble County.?
GANG: Need some info out of New Paris, (PREBLE County) on a BARNES Boat company , Please. A friend got a strange classic speedster maybe around 1959 built with a tag from this company, but not much literature in the boating magazines of the times.

..Maybe someone has the correct link to your Historical Society .? THANKS

If you search the geneology posts/sites, you will find that there are at least two lines of Barnes in southern Ohio. One was from the east side of the state and German and the other from the Mason/Hillsboro/Highland County area and I am not sure if they were connected.
