You were so right. The school administration finally got back to me. My kids will be attending Horace Mann and Western Reserve. They are each less than a mile from my house. Are you familiar with the middle school basketball team? My son really wants to try out, but we don't know yet what grade you have to be in to play. He is also excited that they have swimming. We don't have swimming in none of our schools in Lorain County.

none of our relatives took swimming but i will tell you this western reserve has a huge swimming pool like i said it was once a high school. i believe the high school holds its swim meets at reserve.the gym at reserve is also huge way bigger then the high school.i think middle school basketball is 2 seperate teams?? one for 7th grade and one for eighth at least my husband said it used to be that way.in warren there are 3 middle schools now. theres reserve, theres turner right by packard park and east which is right behind trumbull memorial hospital. theres more kids on the west side so for basketball and football western reserve is one team and they combine the kids of east and turner for sports and call them warren middle.

Hey dawnie, i found these great pictures of Warren that a member on another site took a few weeks ago. Warren looks like such a nice city to live in. The Trumbull County Courthouse looks great. They have a very nice clean downtown with monuments and fountains. I will get the URL later. The website is not responding.

Thanks paintballer for that link, the pics were beautiful. The courhouse is really nice. I drove by it a few times, it's even nicer than what it looks in the picture!

I checked out the festival on the Warren website, it looks like fun. Do you know how much admission is?
