Hello, I would like to say something about Lodi. It's a precious town. It's older, small and like a diamond in the rough and I know our new Mayor will 'buff' it to a nice shine. He is young enough care and old enough to remember that 'small town' atmosphere. He is also on the ball if you have any problems at all. He has proven that to us, without a shadow of a doubt. I kind of like him alot .. And his idea of 'controlled' growth is so respectful for this town. Just like the town of Spencer Ohio where I lived for 14 years. Medina county is the BEST.
When we started our search for another home, being older, we wanted a place that was small, but with necessities. Lodi surely did fit that bill. I mean to say 'if you never wanted to leave', you really wouldn't have to. We have all the stores you could need; grocery, hardware, lumber, pharmacies, beauty parlors, tax preparers, antique as well as restaurants (of which the Lighthouse makes their own homemade french fries lol). We have a park as well as a baseball diamond, a beautiful library and of course the 'corn festival'. We have many doctor's offices, a hospital with a helicopter and that is just 'in' the town. On the outskirts we have many other things as well. We have tons of places for good businesses to come make their home. The schools are very good, we aren't far from bigger cities that house more convienences for entertainment and shopping. Not to mention highways. The taxes are so reasonable and so is the price of property. Diverse in age, income. I am glad I did my research I don't regret the move.

Now don't forget the great folks at Lodi Lumber, its practically the only place I buy my wood from. But yes, Lodi is a nice little town and I hope you folks like the Rt 83 split we re-did for you just outside of town and all the new road work and ramps for I-71. Oh, and my Mom was born in Spencer and my grandmother use to be a teacher in Homerville.

I personally hate the people that seem to reside here. There are many kind people but many bad. For instance, the vice principal took me to a private meeting in a class room with two other teachers that didn't like me as well and called my mother uncaring and obviously unfit to be a mother in the first place. When I stood up to defend her and myself by leaving and calling police for badgering he slammed the desk and threatened to push me into it until i listened. He is now facing charges for smoking on school grounds and sending pictured of his Penis to female students. He can deny it but i was there for the hearing.
Good luck Mr. Hopper!

Good Morning, I spent the first 60 years of my life in Lodi before moving to Florida. And stilll have family and friends there. Lodi is a great village in which to raise your family, Cloverleaf School System is great too. Lodi is a great area for your business; Lodi owns its own utilities which translates into lower rates and better service. I still own a home in Lodi and would recomend you become a part of the community. Tom Wilson, Former Mayor.

Lodi is just off of a main nain I-71 to Cleveland or Columbus. Its a great little town with a beautiful down town. One of my favorite places to go to is "Lodi Lumber", they still believe that the customer is thier first priority.
