89 year-old woman arrested!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHAME ON YOU, BLUE ASH, OHIO police department, for arresting that poor old woman who refused to give kids their football back, after a multitude of them kept falling in her property. I wonder if they would arrest their parents, if they broke her windows.

Good thing I never lived in Blue Ash. There were two little boys on Vinewood Street in Madison Place that lost a lot of baseballs ...

What about "respect your elders," or neighbors for that matter? Where are the parental responsibilities in this?
The ball landed in HER yard. She has every right to tell them to knock if off. They didn't knock it off. I know when I was growing up and did the same thing.. I'd lose my football! AND.. My father would justify the neighbor's actions!!
Disgusting.

Ok, I am going to take another stand on this. I am sure not all the facts were presented in this article. When you live in a NEIGHBORHOOD you deal with a lot-kids included! What about getting along with others? Obviously, this lady had issues with others in the past according to the article. I am sorry- if she got got cited- she must have did something wrong. I DO NOT CARE WHAT AGE SHE IS. When you break the law, that is what happens.Yes, I have grandparents that are this age and if they did something like this( which I dont think they would behave like this), I would say the same thing should happen.
We had a neighbor when I was younger that would stand at her door and YELL at every child that walked by. She was very nasty and had NOTHING better to do. She was just an old lonely lady. She would stay at the door and yell profanities at very young kids. She was constantly calling the police.
If the kids were just playing football and that is it, then what is the big deal about the ball landing in the yard? It is GRASS. ( Now, if they were doing property damage that is another thing.) The kids were outside PLAYING! Playing is what kids do.

I just watched the video about it on CNN. I still stand by what I said.
Aquila is correct. Also, it didn't matter if it was a kid or an adult playing football. She got cited for Petty Theft because she would not give back the ball.
