I'd pick Cleveland hands down over Charlotte, and Columbus any day as well.

Fisher College is one of the very best schools, and MBA programs. when you factor in price, it looks even better when compared to weatherhead (case) and richard t. farmer (miami), which are both excellent as well, but pricey.

NC_MVP, I love to hear about people falling in love with Cleveland. When I first moved there in 1981, I immediately felt at home. Alas, the job market back then didn't cooperate with me!

I finally caught Channel 25's documentary on the Cuyahoga, where they mentioned that just about every other industry-lined river in the U.S. caught fire in the 1960s. But you never hear about that.

We too made our first visit to Cleveland and Ohio just about 2 weeks ago. And as you, we've fallen in love with the city and the state(see my post "48 hours the review". Although we were priviledged to stay at University Circle, the Glidden House, we did get to see Euclid about 15 blocks further east, and several projects areas north of University Circle. Frankly, it wasn't any different than parts of Phoenix. I've learned that poverty or even the appearance of it does not always go hand in hand with crime. And some of the kindest people are those who many consider poor,or worse yet, are only guilty of being a different color than our own.
