That article is so badly written, and the facts are not even right. Youngstown's population is much higher than 60,000. The unemployment rate is no where near 10%, its not Flint or Detroit.

I read some of the peoples' comments below. They are right, they refused to go and see the success stories downtown, and many new restaurants, clubs and stadiums that have opened up.

I guess anyway France can make the USA look bad, they will, even when they have bad journalism.

for as much slanting, spin, or much more often plain apathy which goes on in the american media about international issues, i find terrible french journalism to read just like home.
