This is a silly forum, but still quite interesting. I was born in Cincinnati, spent my summers in Huron, and now live in Florida. Cleve and Cinti are both cool, fun cities. I think anyone can tell Cleveland is bigger. It is northeastern. Cinti is Midwestern. A lot like Florida- Tampa is Midwestern, Miami is Eastern.

Anyhoo, I still read the Enquirer and Plain Dealer.

Cincinnati has nice suburbs on the East side. I love Kenwood and lived there as an adult for many years. I also love downtown, Mt. Adams, and OTR.

Cleveland is big time. I went to Oberlin. The lake is something Cinti can never compete with. Rocky River is a great place where I'd live again. The Warehouse district is just plain awesome.

Democrats, the lake, bigger city, gonna have to go with Cleveland as my vote.

John Boehner, Jean Schmidt, and Rob Portman continue to ruin Cincinnati for me and many others. It's sad and funny that someone on here actually used the Underground RR freedom center as an attribute?

My family lived in Cinti for generations but that is no reason to stay there. Cincinnati has become the reactionary capital of the Republican Party, with only the deep south in agreement. Cleveland is progressive and forward looking. Cleveland rules!

Cincy-rise, thanx for proving what an uptight, clickish, snotty place cinti can be. Ever been to the Warehouse district? Ever listen to Bill Cunningham?

Game. Set. Match.

Quit trolling this forum and trying desperately to make Cincinnati more than it is.

I'm not sure what's worse... someone that's snotty, or painting broad generalizations over an entire group of people?

I could've sworn that I just made a comment about it?

Cincinnati voted majority for Obama.
Hamilton County voted for majority Obama.
Enquirer even published an article on why a Republican will never win majority within the city.

This was my first time posting on here in years, I wouldn't call that trolling, but you....yeah.

Your point is if people don't agree with you, you hate them; you're either with us or with Saddam, "why do you hate America;" right cinti rise? You have just proven to all the readers how desperate Cinti tries to grasp at legitimacy.

I don't live in either city now, so my point is mute, my opinion was all I was offering. I know Cinti doesn't like diverse opinions or debate. It's a glorified company town, admit it.

What I really like about Cleveland is the entire surrounding Western Reserve. Many of the towns are as charming as New England. What is Cinti surrounded by? Brown County? Appalachia?

I grew up in Indian Hill, which is as good as Cinti gets. Still, years later, the memories of that (which are nice, I agree) but do not compare with my years spent on a lakefront home, with a beach, where deciduous trees bordered the beautiful shore.

I am sure you never have and never will experience anything like that. But FYI, it is awesome.

So ... you just signed up, and you've figured out that I'm a troll. Gotcha. There is a rep point rating, btw.

Wow, again ... talk about open-minded liberalism at it's best.

Let's just slap labels on folks that live within this city's boundaries and write it off. Sorry bro, but I'm a "real" liberal and I'm "really" open-minded. Not that cool, college-kid kind.

Well ... ****!!! LOL ... this is your problem my friend! You didn't even live in the city limits. Actually, you lived in an area that is about un-Cincinnatian as it gets! Tell you what, I would love to see you post this comment on UrbanOhio.com .... PLEASE. I'm dying to see the responses!

^ I really wish you would have stated that you lived in Indian Hill from the beginning and saved my time. Wow.

Ok I will, but only if you call into any show on WLW or go out to Mason or Westchester and shout that you voted for Obama.

How come when you list the populations stats, the region extends into KY, but when I say Indian Hill, you say I'm not part of Cincinnati? Can anyone say hypocrite?

This whole personal attack is off topic anyway. Do the world a favor and grow up.

So ... according to your logic here, NYC would be considered a Republican/conservative city because Fox News is based out of the city? Uh, no.

If you ask me what is in the Cincinnati MSA, I'll tell you NOKY, and Indian Hill are, if you ask me if they are in Cincinnati, I'll tell you no. Hell, Indiana is in the Cincy MSA ... Hypocrite - no. Knowledgeable in Cincy's geographics - yes.

cincy-rise, you are the nastiest, most horrible person I have ever met. I am glad and everyone who reads this will be glad they are not in Cincinnati if you are there.

Since you have crapped on all my examples about why I like Cinti and Cleveland, what part of town are you from? What specifically do you like? Or are you too ashamed to say?

Moderator cut: Enough people! Back on topic please!
