Question What's West Union in Adams Co. Ohio like?

Can anyone tell me what its like to live in West Union, Ohio? (rural farm part) Is it a afforadable place to live? Anything else you could tell me about it would be helpful.
Thanks

West Union offers nothing, I have lived here all of my life. To get any county job you must be friends with the right person, it doesn't matter what education you have.

You are at least an hour away from any type of activities outside of summer sports. If you don't know the coaches, your child will not play. As for the schools, they are just like what I have said above, you must know the school personal to have your child be in any activities. The schools here don't care whether your child learns, they will just move them on. The taxes here are too high, yet for some owners they are very low, once again, you must know the right person in the right office.

There are NO OPPORTUNITIES here, no local jobs except fast food or Wal-Mart, no benifits if you can even get a job. The best income that I see for this county is disability, SSI, or welfare. Law enforcement will also look the other way, as they know everyone and will only help the ones they are friends with.
Look elsewhere to live, this is the bottom of our country, rural area, what a joke. Don't live here.
