"some other type of plant in the area that is powered by burning tires and automobile fluff??" From the little sense that you are making I gather you are talking about the plant that would use garbage to create electricity with minimal emissions, thus saving the residents of Clyde money? Yeah, absolutely horrifying!
The cops don't know how to file a proper police report? How would you know? Did you file a complaint because your neighbor's grass was 1/16 of an inch higher than it's supposed to be? But even if you were right, maybe they don't know how to file a proper police report because the crime rate in Clyde is so low. I'm also pretty sure Clyde doesn't have a tattoo parlor.
Favoritism in the schools? Yeah, that's why all of Clyde's teams are so good, because they only let the rich kids play, and not because they select the best athletes to represent them, unless there is some sort of scandal going on in the tee-ball league, where everyone's not a winner!

Sorry about my delay in this whole matter
however, specifics on this electricity generating plant are appauling
I went to the "Town Hall" meeting when the elected officials actually tried to look like they gave a crap about the residents input, a better descript would be: officially pretended. At one point the Japanese developer literally asked the question: "If you eat cookies (he referenced chocolate chip cookies) that will last for 10 or more years without spoiling WHY would we be concerned about the 18% of DIOXINS this autofluff plant would release (into the atmosphere) PER TONNAGE that was burned" ???????? And they would NOT give an amount of tonnage they were looking at burning per day, per shift. You know why? Because this would make the NUMBERS REAL, the outcome of the equation would be real, not some thought up imagined number is anyone's head.
AND this Japanese man that did the presentation was also
cued as to what residents were present and if they had a kids with cancer, that was pretty obvious when a man stood up to ask a question and the Japanese guy asked him after the question was asked and BEFORE he offered an answer if he had a daughter with cancer. HOW would he know that??? She darn sure was not present. . . . . . . .
My question to the illustrious leaders of the community: "If you are our leaders and this is a GREAT community to settle down and raise a family, as is stated somewhere "family oriented" WHY would you even consider building a plant that PRODUCED AND EXPELLED more cancer causing agents INTO OUR ATMOSPHERE??????"
What's that?? Oh the figures, the dollars and cents that would be SAVED through purchasing electricity from the AUTOFLUFF plant, 2 or 3 cents, maybe 4 cents cheaper than what we were presently buying it for ????? OMG Makes perfect sense to me, I am smelling a pay off or rebate check somewhere for you all. . . . . . .I don't know, you do the math: this Japanese company wants the community to pay for this plant (Municipal Loans) AND they will build it, THEN they will maintain and control it, AND they will be paid to receive autofluff and tires to burn in it and then they will sell us some of the electricity at a slightly lower rate than current standard.
JESUS - don't we have any rocket scientists on council?

A FIFTH Grader could see how this works out.
And it is not just the kids, they need to include all cancers of all ages.
