Man you people have no idea how good you have it here, I moved out of metropolitan Washington, DC, the political capital of the country and one of the noisiest, busiest areas I'v ever seen in my life, and I was born and raised there, Prince George's County, Maryland. It seems as though that every single federal program that the government ever came out with, Prince George's County was the county that they would experiment with, and now that county has gotten so busy and congested that you can hardly turn around. My wife was originally from Canton,Oh. Her mother was born and raised in the Belmont, Bethesda area and she has an aunt that lives in Carrollton and a brother that lives in Buffalo, Ohio, Guernsey County, we live in Noble County, the smallest of the 88 counties in Ohio, there are just a little over 14,000 people in all of Noble County, there are more horses and cattle out here than there are people, and we love it, the peace and quiet is great, I don't hardly see any of my neighbors, were that far apart, but I know who they are and they know me and I love living in the foothills of the Appalachians.
When we first moved out here I was a little concerned and told my wife that she was moving this Old Southern Redneck out here in the middle of Yankee territory and that I was a little concerned about how they would take me, well there are some real friendly people out here and although I've been here only for 2 1/2 years they make me feel like one of the regulars here, what I like about it is that people are friendly, they'll wave at you as you go down the road, stop and talk to you on the sidewalk in town, and treat you just like one of their own. Real friendly people here, and I don't miss that metropolitan Washington, DC area, too damn much noise and traffic, and everybody in hurry.
