Potential Ryan Homes Customer - Pictures Wanted
I am currently looking into Ryan Homes and was wondering if anyone has advise/suggestions. I am interrested in both the Victoria Model and the Jefferson Model. Are their any pictures available of the interiors of these homes (preferably without all of the additions and decorations found in the model homes)?
Thanks All

Here's a very dated anecdote, take it for what it's worth.
I once worked in NJ. A guy who worked in my cubicle had a house built in one of the South Jersey suburbs outside Philly, and the builder was Ryan Homes. He was out at the job site every day at lunch time to check their progress. He told me that they put down plywood subfloor and then let it rain on it and the water stood for days. He made them rip it up and replace it.
I'd guess that is typical for most tract home developers, though.
I owned a Ryan built home in Landen. My house was one of the original model homes for the section it was in. The workmanship seemed OK, nothing great or terrible.

buyer beware. We moved in at the end of last year. We had to fight for everything, even industry standards... BEWARE!

Pretty average experiences - some things good, some things not great, but they will fix.
Love their floor plans, love their use of space - some of the best we saw and the reason we ulitmately picked them.
Good luck whatever you decide... ( we have a Courtland, by the way )

My wife and I purchased a Ryan home 4 years ago and had a good experience. I know how homes go together and Ryan is comparable to others that cost more per sq ft in the area. Most builders in the 250-300K price range are average and use the same methods and materials for consturction. The only things I would insist upon are; bath vents vented out roof, gable overhangs, 2x12 joists, and 3/4 floors. The only thing I really do not care for are the interior doors, they are not very good. And Ryan will not customize anything. You must stick with their offered plans and options.
