The OSR is one of the most unique places in the State of Ohio and they've really come a long way on the place since I've been there! The Central Guard Room, (reception hall) looks really nice!
A friend of mine writes for a local free paper out that way and we got a really in-depth tour of the place a few years back. A lot of the pictures didn't come out well, but heres a couple:

Mansfield has a replica of the actual chair. The actual chair was utilized at the former Ohio State Penitentiary in Columbus, and then never used at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville. It was never used at Mansfield.

Thank for the great pics. I went there for Haunted Reformatory and still have a buckeye I picked up while waiting in line. Seen some documentary and they said the locals called it "Dracula's castle" We were laughing so hard, I've never heard it called that!
