Smile MENTOR and MENTOR ON THE LAKE.. TELL ME MORE PLEASE!

Mentor and Mentor-On-The-Lake

Can anyone tell me what these areas are like? Problems with crime? What are the taxes, etc like?

Does it flood? What is the weather like? (How long does it snow?)

Are these communities well kept or are they dying like many others? Are there jobs available?

What are the schools like?
What are the best colleges nearby?

Also, what are the hospitals like?
thanks! PLEASE respond soon!

Might be better to post this in the Cleveland sub-forum. All I remember about Mentor is the mall I went to a couple of times back in the late 70s. Seemed like a nice place then, but places change. Being northeast of Cleveland, I can only surmise they get dumped on by tons of snow each Winter. I know Geauga county does, and Mentor is north of there in Lake County.
