Art, thanks for clarifying. I see what you're saying now. You don't think you're area of NW Ohio is a place that is extremely attractive to New Yorkers and thus perplexed as to why so many are moving there. IS that right?

I would say that's a fair statement. It's not a bad thing, just seems unusual. One of my professional acquaintences put it best when he said "it's an appreciation in sublety."

I'd figure people from that area would enjoy places with a higher social energy level (Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati would be no exception). I myself don't mind it, but then again I grew up here.

Thanks for seeing it more of an innocent question rather than some kinda backhanded rip.
