A little biased, but Cleveland. I have lived in all three and Cleveland with all the established culture and new projects being announced seems to have the most going for it. I plan to be in the construction industry and the ammount of reinvestment going into the inner city as well as the suburbs is unbelievable. Columbus is nice, but hasn't fully "bloomed" like Cleveland and Cincinnati. Cincinnati manages to create an environment that seems like a small town and big city at the same time, but the pace is just a little slower there.

I agree with you 110% and i would know being and urban planner up here in Cleveland. Im sure you have heard of Forest City Enterprises, a Cleveland bases urban planning firm. The amount of development in Cleveland is amazing. There are so many new condos and residential development being built in downtown Cleveland. Cleveland's downtown population grew by 32.5% from 2000-2004. Cleveland has one of the nation's best emerging downtowns. And the development in the suburbs is crazy. I live in Westlake and the western suburbs are getting people from all over the world. Literally from Mexico, and Canada. Alot of people are moving here from Michigan. My new neighbors from Livonia, Michigan love it here.
And speaking of development here in Cleveland, we have alot of new contractors coming here with ideas. We have two people actually fighting over two ideas on the Flats District. We have two ideas for a new Cleveland Convention Center. The amount of development in Cleveland is always great news and im sure if you get in the construction industry around Cleveland you will be doing very good. |
