Default 4th of July!!!

Ok, what fireworks celebration will you be going to?

Tell us about it, where it is, and what you plan to do on the 4th!

Um....er....hmmm....yeah, I don't plan on doing anything for the 4th. I rarely ever do. Just not into the holiday thing in my life - and once you've seen a huge fireworks display, you've pretty much seen them all. Oh, I suppose they're okay once in a great big while, but I don't go out of my way to make plans to drive somewhere to see them. It's kinda sad that Ohio doesn't let you fire off your own bottle rockets, etc....because otherwise I might be more inclined to do that since it can be fun. So most likely I will do what I usually do...sit at home diddling around with something.

I'll be out of town like I am most 4th's, but the fireworks held over at Fitch High School in Austintown were really good, the one year I went to them.

I sort of go out with friends and we all go to someones' house and just start up the grill, have a nice dinner out on the deck, then we sit in the back yard, drink a beer, and watch the fire works from the park. I think its more of a holiday to celebrate our independence, have fun with friends, and just have a good time, and fireworks just go along with the deal.

I was reading the paper today, a lot of towns in the Dayton area have all day long events for families and friends to do in the local parks.

Nope . You'll find Spencer at the cross roads of SR162 and SR301 about 8 miles west of Medina.

Found it manually. Kinda reminds me of Seven Mile, here in Butler County. But honestly, when you enter it in Bing maps, this is the result:

Spencer, Ohio
