Ohio - Pleasant Surprises
We moved here in 2007 from Michigan. Before that, Maryland and NJ. We are very happy with all the things that Ohio offers. Last week we explored what our State has to offer instead of spending our $$$$ in other states. The list is long.....Cleveland - Cuyahoga National Park, Put n Bay, Eat 4th Street - Comedy Club & Dinner. Cincinnatti Kings Island, Reds baseball game, Newport Aquarium (ooops Ky). Great week and we spent $ were it matters Ohio.

There are some cool things to do here! We've done lots of little trips within the state too, since our July 2008 move. It feels good to explore. But we still love to go home to do things in MI too...

Mansfield is a beautiful place to visit this time of year too. The Blueberry Patch is a beautiful you-pick blueberry farm with greenhouse, gift shop and cafe. There's the carrousel in downtown Mansfield along with some nice little shops and restaurants. Kingwood Center is a beautiful free gardens and estate where you can feed the ducks and see the peacocks. Mohican and Malabar are a short drive out into the country. There's putt-putt, race cars and batting cages at the Infield. It's a great place to spend a weekend.

Agree, there is a lot to do here. Big cities, CVNP, Hocking Hills, Amish Country, Cedar Point, great golf courses, bike paths and scenic trails, skiing, beaches, lake, etc, etc, etc.

Some of the best waterfalls east of the Mississippi can be found in Hocking Hills. Ohio is home to some much diversity not only in the landscape and cities, but the people as well. Ohio truly is an amazing place to live and call home.
