Check out Michigan parks, Brighton Rec and Waterloo Rec are my favorites and within 1.50 hr drive of Toledo.

How do you get to Put-In-Bay? It looks like it is separate from Port Clinton, so is there some sort of ferry?
Speaking of which, I've heard there are some shops to check out in Downtown Port Clinton, does anyone know anything about them? Plus, what all is there to do in Put-In-Bay? You can take the Jet Express from Port Clinton. That is generally the fastest way and their boats usually run until midnight. Don't miss the last boat out though. Delaware Avenue is populated by bars and a few shops. There is a Dairy Queen, cave, park, Perry's Monument, and other things. You can rent a golf car to get around. Golf carts are treated like cars on the island.
