Moving to Wooster
I will be moving to Wooster soon and was wondering where people suggest that I live. It doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of apartments to choose from. I am 22 and this be my first job out of college. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There really aren't a lot of apartment complexes in Wooster, but there are lots of small duplexes and such for rent all over town. I know there's an apartment complex on the north side of town (on 83N, past Wal-mart) that looks nice, but I don't know anyone who's lived there or anything. There's also some (crappier) apartments over off of Portage Rd. Your best bet is to drive around the neighborhoods near the country club (on the opposite side of the road, but there's also some on the same) and find something. There's a lot of duplexes in that area. My parents own some rental properties in Wooster, as do some other relatives, so I'll ask around and see if any of them are open (or if they know of any that are). Basically, the north end of Wooster is the nicer, newer part of town. Downtown there's a small college, so there'd probably be a lot more people your age (but most of the stuff to do in Wooster is on the north end)

I used to live in the Secrest Farms apartments and found them to be a nice and cheap place to live. Its on the south end of town by the Ohio State ATI, but you're close to the expressway and can get to all the shopping on the North End just as quickly as living in the middle in the town.

I am possibly visiting a friend who lives in Wooster, OH. What are the best parts of town, and what are fun things to do there?

It depends what you like to do. There are lots of great parks around for hiking and such. The north end of town has all the shopping and such (pretty generic stores, stuff you can find in any retail strip for the most part), movie theater, etc. Downtown is closer to the university, there are some bars and cool little stores
