Red face moving to Gallipolis, OHIO please help

Hello, I am looking at moving to the area of Gallipolis, Ohio. I also have the option of Athens Ohio but am really leaning toward Gallipolis. My wife and enjoy outdoors activities. Any info on the weather, things to do and living in this area would be appreciated!

Default Gallipolis info

Hi There! I don't live there but there is a whole page on the Internet about this area. You might start with GallipolisOhio.com . No one has replied to me yet on here so I thought I'd help someone else if I could.
Good luck to you and your family! Sincerely, PoeticPamela

I grew up in southern Ohio.
Athens has a much better vibe and a bigger feel to it than Gallipolis.
With Ohio University there it has more to offer. Gallipolis is more of a
one horse town than Athens. If you are an outdoorsy person as stated
there are great jogging trails along the river in Athens and you are very close to a lot of state parks and the Hocking Hills.
