Need Info MI/OH!
Can someone give me their input on what are the best places to live in lower southeastern MI and around Toledo OH? I am having the worst time trying to find out what places are safest and that have the most shopping options! Not to mention it seems like Ohio has really high property taxes. Can anybody give me info on a town that has:
1. Low Property Tax [ as low as possible anyway ]
2.Safest
3. Shopping/Restaurants [ walmart,pizza hut etc. ]
Thanks in advance.

I can't speak of property taxes, but for living and safety, the suburbs around Toledo are fine. For instance, Ottawa Hills, Perrysburg, Maumee, Sylvania, and Rossford. In Michigan, Temperance.
For shopping, the Westfield Mall in west Toledo is close to Sylvania. There is a WalMart in Oregon. There is a BestBuy, Kohls, Lowes, and more on Route 20 in the Perrysburg/Rossford area. Perrysburg has Levis Commons and Maumee has The Shops at Fallen Timbers. Both Levis Commons and Fallen Timbers have restaurants.

Flooding isn't a big deal in the Toledo area. It seems to be a bigger issue in Findlay and Woodville though.
