Default Quick Weekend getaway - Dayton Area

Looking for a quick weekend getaway. Significant other finally gets a day off and I want to make the best of it and getaway for a day. Any suggestions on a nice place to go and spend the night. I was thinking of driving down to the Downtown Cincinnati/Newport area for a day, but we have done that a few times already. Any other places similar? Looking for a little bit of a night life with some restaurants, bars, pubs, etc. Plus some decent accomodations.

have you been to Indy? I had no expectations going into a weekend trip this past summer, but Indy is actually a great town. Nice downtown, plenty of restaurants, museums, zoo, and other things to do. I'd also suggest checking out the Broad Ripple area. It's an urban-y, eclectic neighborhood which several sweet bars and restaurants.
