Ohio gets to claim its second world record pumpkin this year. The first was a Connecticut field pumpkin weighed at the Canfield Fair. It was somewhere around 164, or 167 pounds.
Yesterday's weigh off produced a 1725 pound monster from Massilon. It is now a standing world record. There are a few more weighoffs in the next couple of weeks, but we are claiming it for now.
