^Thanks! I like to think it is. Beyond downtown it's basically a bedroom community w/a lot of 1970s-1990s cookie cutter neighborhoods and some mcmansions. The nice thing about it is that all of the neighborhoods are nice, people take care of their yards, it's walkable (bikable, is that a word?), and it has excellent schools.

Nice photos!! Yesterday was an especially beautiful day. Cortland is a very pleasant community. Suburbia and a small farming town are blended nicely here.

Thanks for the great photos CortlandGirl. I lived in Cortland for five years way back in the mid seventies on a job transfer. Great scenery and fall colors.Seems so quiet and peaceful. Much different from Southern Ca where I now live.
