Which cell phone company is the best? I want to get a phone before I move out there, but I want to get one where it won't have many dropped calls.

When I lived in Conneaut, I had sprint. Sometimes, it worked great. Other times, I would not get any service. I think there is probably something better.

My father's side of my family live in Conneaut and have lived there for 50+ years. I go there every year for our family reunion and don't have too many issues with my cell service which is Sprint. However if you live in Conneaut and get Sprint, they are still in an affiliate area (iPCS or something like that) and I am not sure about their plans. You will definitely need a plan that includes roaming because there are some spots which you will roam. A lot of my family in Conneaut have Verizon and have similar coverage but it is not an affiliate so you will be able to get a good coverage plan that includes roaming (extended coverage area). One other carrier that is good in that area is Alltel. I hope that helps you out a little. Good luck .....

The top providers in northern Ohio are Alltel and Verizon. The difference between the two depends on where you travel when away from home. Alltel roams more often on Sprint, Verizon roams more often on Alltel. But north of the Turnpike they are both excellent and don't need roaming.

Our Company uses Verizon; but we are in the process of moving out of this area. Conneaut is a complete armpit of North America. The lack of leaders, the local telephone company committed fraud again one of our Company Execs. I heard him say the other day that our Company will pay for the move of ANY company desiring to leave Conneaut Ohio as long as the employees do not go.

If you live in Conneaut as my family does, I love it, we can exploit the minimum wage and these people love it because they have a job. You can buy a home for a 1/4 of the value because of the location of Conneaut and the lack that the medium income is probably only 6,000 per year.

Heck, the school board voted to stop busing the school children, but just paid an administrator, assistant administrator, principal and assistant principle raises. I could go on and on why this is not the place raise your children - POOR TEACHERS, BAD MANAGERS and PEOPLE not WILLING to WORK.

Run!!! Make it a Ghost town!
