Default Schools?

Right now, I live near Green Springs, Ohio. I very much dislike living here and want to move.
The problem? Well, my 8 year old son is VERY intelligent so I need to find a GOOD school for him to be in before I can even think about moving
I'd like to stay in NW Ohio. Preferably within one hour of Toledo, but I don't like bigger cities and would like to keep it small.

Does anyone know of any schools that would be a good fit for my son?

Lots of people seem to like the Findlay City Schools and the surrounding County Schools. I know one of the County schools starts teaching their kids Chinese in 2nd grade. We're about 45 minutes from Toledo. While Findlay is a "bigger" town, there are lots of very small town opportunities that are pretty close...

I go to Findlay a lot, but don't really know what their schools are like. I'm about 45 minutes east of Findlay.

I would definitely consider the Findlay area. I'd much rather live outside the city (get a few acres of land for the kids and dogs...kwim), versus living inside the city. But right now, I'm driving my son 12 miles one way to get him to school, so it wouldn't be a really big deal if I had to continue doing it.

Perrysburg Schools are great and just implemented a great gifted program at the high school. I would really look into that area. Plus, Bowling Green's campus is very close, so your child could participate in Post-Secondary schooling while in High School.
