Exclamation Need advise on hail damage

I live in Powell Ohio and experienced a hail storm on or around February 2007. I am looking for anyone who also experienced this same storm. My Insurance adjuster denies we had such a storm or the hail could have possibly hit our house.

Hi tess1768.

I can't say myself, but I CAN direct you to a weather forum where you could ask, and the people there would be well equipped to help you. Send me a PM if you're interested, and I'll send you the link.

A PM is a "Private Message". It allows you to send messages to other members, without anyone else being able to see what you've written. If you click on a member's name, you'll see an option that says "Send a private message to ____".

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to publicly post links to other websites, so I suggested you send me a PM. But that's okay - I'll just go ahead and post the link here. If a moderator needs to delete it, I can always send it to you again.

Here is the link: http://www.skyeyeweather.com/Weather_Forum

This is the link to the registration page: http://skyeyeweather.com/Weather_For...ct=Reg&CODE=00

You'll need to register first (it's totally free), and then they have to approve your membership application. It may take a little while....it took about 24 hours for my application to be approved, but you won't have a problem. It's usually just because the owner of the site isn't online at the time you apply.

P.S. The good thing about that website is that it is based in Ohio, and is run by a former meteorologist who worked at a Cincinnati news station. He now does weather out of Dayton. His name is Rich Apuzzo, and he is a very good person to ask about weather. The site also has a lot of people from Ohio who know a lot about weather, including some who live in the Columbus area.

Tess, I don't know if you resolved this matter but, did you have it inspected by a professional contractor before or after you contacted your insurance company? In these cases it is important to have a specialist there with your insurance adjuster.

My husband does this for a living and if you have any questions please message me.

Here's a link that lists hail events in Delaware county in 2007. Nothing for Feb, but there was a report in April in Powell. NCDC Storm Events-Select State
