Default Fairfield and Hamilton???

How long is a commute to the city from these places? And i know they are in the same county but which county are they in? Sorry, dont mean to be asking all these questions but i only have a month or two to make my choice if i want to move to SW Ohio. Any opinions on these two places?

If I remember right, it's a bit less than an hour drive into downtown Cincinnati in rush hour. Also if I remember right, they're in Butler County. Fairfield's is fair, Hamilton is seedy, though suburban sprawl was overtaking them last I was there a few years ago. Blue Ash, Mariemont, and Loveland are nicer, closer in, cost abit more but still cheap compared to most any other suburbs in the country.

Hamilton and Fairfield are about 20 minutes to Cincinnati - if you want to get right downtown, you're probably looking at closer to 40 minutes. The trip is about 10 minutes longer from the west side of Hamilton. There are park and ride areas where you can catch the Cincinnati Metro as an option as well.

Both cities are located in Butler County. Hamilton is the county seat, with beautiful historical buildings (including the courthouse) and a variety of neighborhoods. It is not as new and polished as Fairfield, but it has history and character that Fairfield does not.

Fairfield is quite newer and is developing a nice area called "Village Green" which has a library, city park and ampitheater, arts center and some housing and retail. Housing is both cities is affordable and vaired.

Hope this helps.
