Basically, Amelia is a village on the eastern fringes of suburban Cincinnati. Was there anything specific you wanted to know about?

Amelia is still half Cincinnati suburb, half country crossroads. The village of Amelia proper is the kind of small town where the cops run radar and nab anyone going more than 26 mph; the surrounding townships are a mix of farms, very large trailer courts, apartment complexes, and a variety of housing developments from 1950s ranches to condo developments to McMansions.

Amelia is in the West Clermont school district, which has its problems like any other school district struggling with growth, but is reasonably well-managed.

I live in Amelia. It is ok, its pretty quiet. It's not so small you know everyone here, but you certainly get to know people around here. The cops do stop you for going over 25! lol I've been stopped myself for that. There isn't too much crime in Amelia. Clermont County though, seems like there have been problems here recently. But still very, very safe. Amelia is good because you are close enough to Downtown to do things & go places, but you aren't right in all that. Being a teacher here, the schools are funded incorrectly from the state which is causing many local schools to suffer, but the staff at the schools are doing their best to cope. Overall Amelia is a great place, people wise- it's an inbetween kinda place, you have really wealthy people, poor people and mostly working class people. Hope you are a Bengals fan! Who Dey Welcome to Amelia
