nobody talks about Leetonia.....
good afternoon (now in Italy is 8,45 p.m.)
I had the change to read this forum and seems very interesting. Quite all the posts here are talking about move, but nobody never asked about Leetonia.
In 1979 I went in this beautiful little town and still remember it as a lovely charming place to live.
I wonder if someone who is reading this thread could let me have any further nformation about it. Many years hads been passed and maybe something is changed.

Leetonia really hasnt changed. They did get a really nice new highschool, middle school, and elementary school. Great looking buildings. The town has about 3,000 residents. It still has that small river running through the middle of the town with a small park along it with some new businesses. But, besides that it hasnt changed. It is still a nice quiet town.

Thank you very much for your reply. As per your description Leetonia is just like I remember: wonderful, charming little town. It seems the right place to live. I wonder why nobody in this forum had never asked about it, although most of requests here are talking about moving.
Leetonia is surely better than my town Bologna. During the latest years many things have been changed. We are not more sure going out in the evening, crimes are growing up and this is very sad. Just about twenty years ago my town was called "the happy island". Now we are no more so happy......

Well are you planning to move to Leetonia? It is a very nice little town. I think the reason no one talks about it is because there are so many small towns just like it. By the way is Bologna in Italy?

Scammed by the benners of leetonia
I have something to say about Leetonia. I was SCAMMED by an eBay user, 'jenben1123', Jennifer Benner of Leetonia, with a fraudulent check. Her and her husband Jason had a closed checking account in Salem, OH, and wrote many bad checks to other sellers~~their eBay account is now suspended.
I am notifying the police today about the check, like many other sellers have been doing. If you know Jennifer & Jason Benner, please rethink doing business with them, unless it is CASH ONLY.

They have been reported to the AG's Internet Crime dept. Other eBay sellers are going after them too. It is Jennifer's eBay account--but she wrote the bad checks from Jason's account......so BOTH are guilty.
