Default Looking for opinions on Medina Co towns

We will be relocating to Medina County very, very soon! (hubby starts his new job on 6/25!)

I have found several very inexpensive apartments listed in Rittman. Almost scary inexpensive. I personally have not been there, so I have no idea how the town rates. I had collected newspapers from all over the area this past weekend while we were in town, and that is where I got the listings.

Our housing requirements are fairly simple; need to have housing that accepts dogs and *really* want to have a W/D hook up. We have a nearly brand new W/D set that we had to put into storage only about 30 days from purchasing, and I miss having them! I know of the ranch type apartment complexes around town (used to work for the company), and we'll keep those in mind, but would rather find something privately owned and a little better priced. We can afford up to $650/mth, but really want to save as much as possible just because we're healing from year long layoffs on both our parts.

Anyone have any good or bad opinions of the area?? Anyone know of some good places to look?

Rittman is not an affluent part of Medina Co., but there is nothing wrong with it. It's safe and un-fancy, and rural. Just plain folks. The property values there are low, so you can find inexpensive housing there. In your budget you can probably find a house to rent there. Really, I can't think of anywhere in Medina County that I would warn you away from. It's nice here.
