If you ain't been to the Rogers Sale. You got to go at least once in your lifetime.
Tons of junk, dust, walking, walking, more walking.
You must know what you really desire. There are some super deals on certain things. More from vendors who sell like sandpaper of industrial quality at super low prices, bulk stuff. Some good deals on veggies. Flea market stuff. Some good tools, very select super deals.
Tons of tacky carnival type pure junk you will regret bringing home.
More the experience of dust, walking, crowds, being bumped and never knowing if you might find that widget you have looked everywhere for.
And yeah the junk food. Not bad burgers and hot dogs. Get there early, the thrill of trying to get out the back way and avoid all that traffic. Every time I go up there on a Friday I try to get my BIL to go with me to the Roger's Sale. He knows the country like the back of his hand. Knows many of the vendors. I never buy much but do find some rare buys at times.
Forget the art. Some of the stuff is stolen hot goods being hawked by probably ex-con's. Bring cash but keep your pocket buttoned over your wallet or keep it in your sock.
Knowing where all the bathrooms are and which ones are probably available is an art form in itself. So is knowing where to park.
