Arrow Moving to Lorain, OH

Hi I am coming from Europe and would need a nice apartment or house, furniture and a car. If anyone knows anybody who can help me out?

I will be there by August 2nd or 3rd.

Thanks!

Default Moving to Lorain

Sorry, I can't help you with a place to live but do you know anything about Lorain, Ohio. I just wanted to warn you it is a VERY high crime area. Are you familiar at all with it? IF I had a choice I would pick another Cleveland suburb like Rocky River or Westlake.
FYI

I live in Lorain, I have all my life. Lorain is not THAT bad. It has some good areas and some bad. I will say Lorain is getting worse, and I do not believe that it will ever improve.

Everybody keeps saying that but Lorain is not that bad. Lorain had about 6 murders last year and Elyria i know had at least 5 or 6 and its smaller than lorain, Cleveland had 120 murders. Lorains crime rate in every site i checked is even lower than the national average. The best places to move in Lorain are the far Westside Southwest and North East Lorain.

The areas not to move in are South Lorain near E.28th street. and Near West Lorain south of the railroad tracks and North of 21st Street. Anywhere South of Meister road and west of Levitt Road are nicer areas.

If you want to move to Elyria anywhere on the Eastside or Northeastside are nice. The Westside is not that bad either. In Elyria stay away from South-Central Elyria and South-West Elyria. South-East Elyria is a nicer and newer area.

Gosh... I didn't know that. I could not really choose the place. I was given a school and that's all I know. It is good the area around Leavitt Road?
