My husband has just been transferred to OKC. He will be working close to Tinker. We have high school age kids. Currently they are in a Catholic school with about 1200 students. Ay suggestions that might be a close match to make their transition easier. Thanks

There are two Catholic highs schools in OKC that I am aware of. They are Mt St Mary's, which is on the south side of town, and Bishop McGuinness which is on the north side of town. I don't know much about either, other than a couple of my neighbors have kids at McGuinness. I don't know anything about Mt St Marys, I've only heard it mentioned a couple of times so I am assuming its pretty small. McGuinness is the one you hear more about, like for sports and all. I have heard its a great school.

Thanks for the info. We were thinking we might try the public schools and save the tuition $ for college. We were going to look for houses after we decide on a school.

There are several good school districts in the area. Edmond is known for its schools and is why we chose it. There are lots of people in Edmond that work either at or near Tinker. Moore and Norman are also good districts.
