Default school bus facility..

Do I get school bus facility if I stay within 1 mile from the school.I have an 8 yr old son and I dont driveWe both can walk to school but the probem comes in winter...when it gets v. cold.....need inputs...

I would be surprised if you got a bus route within 1 mile of the school. I believe 1 mile may be the boundary however if you have special circumstances (you don't drive) perhaps the school could work with you... it may only be the short bus, but anything is better than nothing.

Thanks....I found out from my son's school, the school bus does comes to my apt complex which is less than a mile from school .so my problem is solved....Thanks anyway!!
