Default Info on Edmond

We're moving to Edmond - can anyone tell me anything about the city? What are the schools like? Any area of the city to look for a house? Any part of the city to stay away from? Are the people friendly? Any info is appreciated!

I live in Edmond and it is a great place for families. The schools are some of the best in the state. They have just completed a new middle school and a getting ready to add a new elementary school. The high schools are always adding on like a new gym, jrotc building, and language lab. The schools have many programs like an AP classes, Concurrent (college classes an uco), vo-tech and very good sports program. The community is strong and it has many organizations and they have just finished a new community center. They al so have many community activities like art festivals, concerts and plays in the park. This city is always growing ever since I moved here 13 years ago. I live on the north side and they are many new houses being built. All parts of the city are nice but you might want to stay away from some of the college apartments and house but even than they aren't really that bad. The people are very friendly. If you have any more questions just ask.

Default Edmond

Edmond is a great place to live - my daughter has lived in Edmond for several years. There's really no bad part of Edmond. Where to live is going to depend on how much you can spend on a home. A 1200 to 1600 sqft home in NW Edmond will go for $125,000 to $150,000 if you want something newer. Let me know if you would like assistance in finding a home.
