Bwwwahhhh!!!!

Seriously, get over yourselves. There are a lot worse places than Oklahoma. It is much cleaner than Houston.

It's about time someone told the truth about this state.

The truth is there are both good and bad things about Oklahoma... just like every other state. That's life. Get used to it. High taxes and non-existent jobs? Sounds like you backed yourself into a bad corner.

Cry me a freakin river.
But it IS horrible in Oklahoma! Tornadoes practically everyday, 100 degree temps in the winter for crying out loud! And nothing, NOTHING but country and western bars and churches for as far as the eye can see!

Robin Renee is on a distinguished road
Hi Becky,

We just decided we are moving to Oklahoma. My daughter and new grandaughter live there. I can't bare to be without them. I have been to Oklahoma many times to visit. I never saw myself living there but again, I can't bare the thought of not being able to see my grandchild grow up. I have been looking at historical homes, my dream is to own a Victorian. I can have that in OK., I am not quite sure what area, my daughter lives in Tecumseh, near Shawnee. What do I need to know before our move? Thank you kindly!

Robin Renee

Lol and Hello! I am sure that you will love Oklahoma and I am so glad that you are moving to OK to be closer to your grandkids. I am currently in Reno, NV, but I will be moving to either the TX panhandle or to NM next spring. My youngest moved back to OK last summer for high school. He is in the small town of Laverne. I don't think that moving back to OK is in the cards for me, but I will be closer, soon. I wish you all the best. I will be in the state often, looking for clues to my ancestry. I am looking forward to getting out of NV. Again, best wishes

You will be fine speaking English. Goodpasture is joking with you.

There are many Victorian houses in Guthrie, OK. The entire downtown is Victorian. They are actually shooting a movie this week in Guthrie because of the Victorian houses. You can get a incredible Victorian house there for cheap compared to "Sacramento" prices.

I googled it and found 321 N 1st. listed at $94k. 3200 sq ft.
