You might want to do some research on the current state of OKC. You might find some recent information...It is like..What? 2007 going on 2008. I mean come on now....its been 12 yrs.
Dont you feel a lil' disgusted w/yourself for even bringing up a topic that killed 168 people as a reason to inadvertently argue that OKC is not a city?...Totally disgusting....

Discusting yes, but true. If the details of the bombing had anything to do with what I was saying, I would have brought them up.
But if you want to go that far to compare things, fine.
Living in So Cal, for 36 years and reading the death count on the front page of the the news everyday makes the OKC incident look small in comparison.
I've had a child die in my arms from a Hit and Run driver, I've seen a neighbor drop dead in his front yard after a drive-by shooting and I've seen the results of a head on collison caused by a drunk driver. These are all discusting, but it a daily accurance.
the point is:
The territorial demensions or population is not the only thing that give's a place it's size. Most places are'nt thought of by their size but by their reputation, good, bad or indifferent.

The OKC so-called incident? Hmmm. This incident that happened in OKC cannot be compared to drive bys or drunk driving....It was one event. I just hope you understand that it stands for more than death on a daily basis...Which happens all over the world.
But one event that kills and destroys/rocks a community with one blow...Its different. If you dont understand that... well that is your opinion which you have the right to make.
Size? Territorial? Pop?...Sounds like you are just reverberating the original posters silly arguement about the recognition of a city and its significance.
Not impressed.....

I don't think it is appropriate to squabble about the bombing. OKC is not known for the bombing. OKC is known for the response to the bombing. I think it is called the Oklahoma Standard.
I really don't think we should talk about the bombing this way.

What makes OKC a "city" to you?

The last time I checked, Check, it's a C to me.

I think it's wise that we close this thread. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of it was to begin with and it's really serving no useful purpose here.
The original poster is no longer with us and it's obvious that it was just another "troll" post. It was only meant to upset people who are from OKC. and apparently this wasn't an isolated thread in the forum that was only meant to cause problems between all of us.
