What, with Ambassador pay being what it is and all?

Whats really funny is that there are actual Ambassadors all over downtown and bricktown! They tell about the history and stuff...But its hilarious because they ride around on those stand up, two wheeled scooter things...I forget what they are called. But I imagine their pay is terrible!!

You would probably like to see the Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown OKC. I don't think the underground tunnels go all the way over to the Gardens, but they are close. I used to hang around Lone Grove a lot. It's a nice town. |

I agree Peggy...Cattlemens really does show off the heritage of OKC. The Stockyards isnt a weekend venue and is a working place for actual cowboys...Calling it a district in my opion is silly. It isnt about entertainment and I like it that way. Cattlemens really relies on its working class (rough cowboys that actually laugh at those dern uppity new comers that try to venture into their territiory!)

Those are Segways, and I want one!

Segways are certainly not for nerds!! They even have an off-road Segway!! Soon this form of transportation will be affordable to the common folk like me.
Until then...I will have to wait! |

The real cowboys eat on the non-fancy side of Cattlemens. We eat on that side a lot if it's crowded because you get faster seating. I thought Stockyards City was actually a separate town from Oklahoma City, but apparently not. Here is a link, if you click on the history button it tells some interesting facts.
Welcome to Stockyards City Home Page Back to the topic, any chance they might extend the Underground to Bricktown and the Myriad Gardens? |

I usually just walk on the sidewalks when I do get downtown, because I want to see everything. The Underground would be nice in bad weather, though.
There are also the trolley looking buses that are downtown. That looks like a good way to get back and forth. Downtown has a lot more than Bricktown, but it can get to be a long walk, say from Bricktown to the Art Museum. |

but do they go to any shopping areas? looks mostly governmental to me. Is "governemental" even a word? is now.
