They turned a river into a canal. What did they think would happen? Moderator cut: snip

HUMAN FECES IN RIVER | KFOR.com

“The city doesn’t dispute that there are at times human waste in the river,” Kristy Yager, spokesperson for Oklahoma City, said. “We do know that there are two trailer parks that are on the river and our concerns are they are sources of contamination in the river. The DEQ has the permit with them to discharge so we don’t moniter it, but we’re very concerned about it.”

In his last thread complaining about the OKC river, he said the rocks around the river were ugly.

Something about OKC has upset him and none of us will ever know what it is. Best just let him get it out of his system.

I remember working in northern Idaho in the pristine mountains. One of the summer temps thought it would be so nice to drink the ice cold mountain stream. Bad move. He had the worst diarrhea in his life.

I do pipeline work so my job takes me all over the country, I'm living in Wyalusing, PA now. Its very beautiful up here. There are a few places I have lived that I was not too crazy about but I have since moved away and put it behind me. One thing I have notice about every place I have lived is that most folks are very proud of their home and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. So that being said, I would find it real classless to troll their boards and keep dragging up any negative I could find on their home city. I am generally pretty happy with my life and don't feel the need to bring others down.
