Dirt is flying around everywhere! A lot of construction going on in many parts of Bricktown and surrounding area. While walking over to the boathouse on the river I stumbled upon what looked like a part of the new highway. Since it will be a depressed highway it sure looked like a small portion of it.

Default Kudos To Oklahoma City

KUDOS and ACCOLADE'S to Oklahoma City , you are without a doubt a certified bona fide RENAISSANCES CITY located right in the HEART Of OKLAHOMA. Aunt PAT and Uncle JOHN people can't make FUN OF YOUR CITY ANYMORE WHEN YOU TWO TRAVEL THE COUNTRY FROM THE EAST COAST TO THE WEST COAST AND THE NORTH TO THE SOUTH, but toooo BAD all of this Won't Be Completed Until Round And About the Year Of 2035.

You know...it's hard to see how everything comes about eventually but hopefully it will be nice. I'd love to see our city finally be somewhere where people want to come to. Sure, the older crowd loves it but I'm 21 and when you compare it to a Miami or Houston it doesn't compare. lol. So I look foward to the day when I hear someone from cities of that caliber say they'd like to see our city. Because right now when you tell someone that you're from OKC they just kinda laugh. The younger crowd needs more cuz I often hear people around my age say things like, "I live in Oklahoma city....unfortanitly". Or people will say, "What's in Oklahoma? ha ha, where's that at?". So I can't wait to shut them up.

Unfortunately, people like to have stereotypes.

Where do you live in New York, and do you like it there?

Welcome to the forum.

C2S is a phenomenal project and I can't wait until they actually start pushing dirt. OKC will be up there when it's completed even if it takes 20 years (which I am not happy about) in 5-15 years or so OKC will be a tier 2 city no doubt.

I live in Watertown, NY. Upstate New York. It's really boring. Comparing it to Oklahoma City is silly. In the army you meet people from all over. It's not like I'm in the NY National Guard where everyone else is from NY. lol
