HeatherDawn is on a distinguished road
I rode the Heartland Flyer from Purcell (south of Norman about 15 mins) to Ft Worth and I don't think I'll do it again. I'd rather make the short drive and have my own car handy.

I love good design, architecture, furniture, culture, and good book stores but I don't want to live back east and especially in NYC. I like taking frequent trips out to New Mexico which is not all that far from Oklahoma City. I could live in San Francisco but it is completely out of budget.

Thanks for any info,
Oklahoma City/Norman are more cosmopolian than Tulsa , Tulsa lost it's edge during the great Oil Crash of 1982........

Stillwater is one of the most cosmopolitan places outside the metro areas. It's just as racially diverse as Norman. For another sign, below is a picture of a Japanese garden just outside the Stillwater Community Center.

Hello designer i'm a Afro-American that lived in Tulsa Oklahoma 1954-1976 and 1988-1990 who LIKES Tulsa a great deal better than OKC , but OKC is more COSMOPOLITAN THAN TULSA and NORMAN is more COSMOPOLITAN than OKC in a very narrow sense. (OU) Oklahoma University is what's makes Norman so Cosmopolitan because it's draws students from every state in the United States of America and almost Every Country In The World. From 1920 to 1982 Tulsa was the Oil Capital Of The WORLD , however during the Oil Bust Of 1982 Tulsa fell behind Oklahoma City Never To Catch Up Again , you see termendously rich Men (Oil Barons) Made TULSA Into What It Is a very sophisicated well endowed city with World
Class Museums and Opera's And Philharmonic Orchestra's and World
Class Art Deco Architecture. The people of Tulsa are not responsible for the brilliants of Tulsa , they tend to vote down every ballot measure designed to make TULSA a top tier city , well I digress you was talking about
Cosmopolitan Oklahoma , well that will be found around it's univeristies OU in Norman , OSU in Stillwater , LU in Langston , OKC Urban Campus OU/OSU/LU , OKC Asian District which could be a sort of Second Tier Chinatown or Japantown or Etc.'town if some Architecture were put in ...TULSA Urban Campus OU/OSU/LU/NSU Broken Arrow and
ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY Which attractes people from every state in the union and almost every Country In The World.

Tulsa Port Of Catossa is a International River Port which should grow in importants as Train and Semi-Trailer Truck Shipping becomes more and more expensive. Tulsa could become more Cosmopolitan if worldwide trade was to increase at the port and RIVER CRUISES WERE UNDERTAKEN on the ARKANSAS RIVER AND MISSISSIPPI RIVER...New Orleans..St. Louis
Little Rock..Memphis...Cincinatti Ohio..Louisville KY..Minneapolis/St. Paul.

I Think that Tulsa has a TOP Three In The World Oktoberfest which is a Germany European Festival , i can't fiquire that one out hummm.
