I have relatives in OKC and am thinking of moving out there. I’ve 65 and thinking that the weather might be a bit much. I would be coming from Phoenix which I’m sick of. OKC, and Moore is out but I've been looking at Yukon and Mustang. I have $150K to spend. I would like to be close to the VA hospital because I'm a Vet. Edmond is a little pricey so any suggestions?

I'm a transplant of So. Cal and it will take you a couple of winters to adjust. My first year here I thought I would freeze to death, but now run out without a coat on..I do miss sunny Ca. weather! And, I didn't take into consideration how homesick I'd be moving away from where I was born and raised. My son came with us and lives in Moore and really likes it.

There aren't any safe neighborhoods around the VA hospital. You're just outta luck on that one.
