Wow, those comments are mean. It is funny how people from Seattle all think they are so much smarter than us "hicks". I'm glad I don't live there. I don't think I will ever even want to visit there again.

Look at it this way, just another million or so people we don't have to worry about invading OK.......allows us native born mean folks to shine....I don't need the competition.

Seattle is an incredible town with so much going for it (obviously). People there are just upset over a cowtown taking their NBA team. Sweet and simple.

Clay Bennett Wins
You'll be proud to know that Clay Bennett won a Dori award this month. Dori Monson is a talk show host on 710 KIRO radio in Seattle. Here's the result of the voting for the most Annoying Person, Place or Thing of the year.
Locally, the Seattle School District placed third, The Supreme Court of Washington takes second place and the 2007 Dori Award Winner is Seattle Sonics principal owner, Clay Bennett.
By the way, he joins the National Dori Award winner, Al Gore.

I'm not sure if you were talking about me, but let me tell you for sure, I'm not in Seattle and I hope not to be in Washington too much longer. I'll come back to the northwest for vacation but I sure don't like living here. I was an Okie for 60 years and I'm ready to move back, but be assured I'll always be an Okie, no matter where I live. Go Pokes!!

Here's my take - I saw OKC Sonics and thought "homegrown hamburger joints". It only seems right we take the other Sonics, as well.
Did I say we? YIKES! I'm a native Texan. I need to get home, post haste!

No...That was not intended for you at all Cindy. I remember reading that you were off to Victoria Island (Vancouver Island) so I can see how you maybe were tying the two together.??
The last time I was in Seattle (which will probably be THE last) I had a nice trip up to VI on a huge hoover craft. It was wild because we saw a whale emerge and a nuke sub all on the same ride!! The captain or who ever announced it. I was pretty blown away/sounds like BS but its true.
I was refering to the posters on the article! Many people are so against the move...I just say deal with it!!
